The iGRP is a die cast black glass-reinforced polyester (GRP) enclosure certified to ATEX under EPS09ATEX1237, marking II 1 G D T6, II 2 G D. It covers Zones 0, 1 & 2 for gas (Ex ia/ib/ic IIC, Ex e IIC, Ex nA, Ex nR) and Zones 21 & 22 for dust (Ex tb IIIC Db IP66). It is specified where metallic enclosures are unsuitable, aggressive acids, coastal brine, RF-transparent applications, or environments where non-magnetic or non-conductive properties are required.

GRP polyester is immune to the corrosion that affects even 316L stainless in aggressive acid, bleach or brine environments. Halogen-free material throughout.
Specified where magnetic or conductive enclosures cause interference or are a specification requirement. Also common in RF and instrumentation installations.
Significantly lighter than an equivalent stainless enclosure. Relevant for overhead and elevated installations, offshore platforms, or where manual handling is a concern.

Carbon doping provides antistatic properties required for ATEX use. High UV, dust, fat, oil and bacterial resistance. LSOH throughout. Other colours available on request.
