By applying our extensive knowledge and experience of hazardous area enclosure component integration, indEx have created a completely new concept in control station design and rapid build.
The hazardous area industry has been stuck in the past for decades by large manufacturing companies that wish their customers to use very expensive standard sized steel panel control stations with their own push buttons, lamps etc.
These have notoriously long lead times, are astonishingly expensive, and more often than not, are made to the manufacturer’s specification – NOT you, the customer.
indEx have entered into a partnership with a global leader in contactor/actuator/push button/lamp design and manufacture meaning we can integrate this control gear into custom sized stainless or mild steel enclosure and with our range of iGRP enclosures we can offer the complete solution for gas zone 1 & 2 and dust zone 20, 21 & 22.
This means we can design, build and deliver within a fraction of the time and cost of your usual supplier but to YOUR exact specifications – not ours.
Any custom size available for Ex de stainless and mild steel up to 2000x1200x800mm and any size from our iGRP range – please see our iGRP Datasheet page for full sizes and options available.
But that is not all. It also means that we can supply you with the individual components for you to integrate yourself as well as the enclosures! So no need to compromise anymore. indEx have the answer.

Blow Out Preventer (BOP) Control Stations
indEx are proud and honoured to have one of our most important clients, Electro Flow Controls (EFC) of Scotland, allow us to exhibit one of their finished blow out preventer (BOP) control stations for the Aberdeen Offshore Europe show 2015. Come and see it on stand 1B55.
We have been supplying EFC for some time now and they have come to expect the only highest quality of cabinets and fabrications from indEx and with rapid delivery.
In this case they required a full stainless steel cabinet with cut outs so they could fit out and certify with their mimic panel.

One of our most prestigious and regular clients often have odd and rare applications which are job specific and are often required at very short notice for north sea off shore drilling operations.
In this instance we were asked to provide a simple iTB enclosure with lid cut outs for drill operation switches and instruments but this time with an external clear screen protecting the external components from the excesses of drilling mud; which can be highly toxic and corrosive. As usual this enclosure application was completed on time, on budget and to the great satisfaction of our client and their end user.
